Dunaszerdahely Courtyards Music

The Pósfa band was named after one of Gelle's small villages, Pósfa, as the band's founder, Lajos Iván, lives here.

The members of the orchestra:

András Iván - violas
Zoltán Iván - clarinet,tango accordion
József Márton Gólya - cimbalom
István Álló - double bass
Since 2010, they have enriched many cultural events with their music not only in the Highlands but also beyond our borders, such as in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Transylvania, Macedonia, Greece, Spain, Sicily, France and Brazil.
In 2013, they obtained a gold band rating in the category of musical poems of the Mihály Tompa poetry and prose competition. In 2016, they won the Harmony Slovak Hungarian Music Award as the best traditional band of the year.
In 2017, they proved to be the best in the category of instrumental soloists and orchestras in the folk music and folk dance talent search program called 'Fölszállott a páva".
